How to JoinMembership of The Association of Guernsey Charities is open to any organisation, based in the Bailiwick of Guernsey, that has charitable aims and objects. If you are involved with a local charity, and would like to join, you will need to print a copy of the application form (link on the right of this page). Applications cannot be completed online, as we require the application to be signed by a senior member of the organisation. It is important to complete each section on the application form, as these details are used to produce information about your organisation for publication on this website. It is a requirement of Guernsey law that all charities and non-profit organisations (NPO) are locally registered (subject to certain conditions). The registers are administered by the States Income Tax department. Application needs to be made, in writing, using the relevant application form, which is available along with further information from their website: www.gov.gg/ccm/navigation/income-tax/charities-and-non-profit-organisations In order for membership to be considered, you will also need to enclose the following with your application:
This should be sent to The Secretary at the address given on the form.
