Lihou Charitable Trust
Welcome officially to Steve Sarre as the new Warden in waiting. He will be starting work soon, but if you are keen to meet him prior to that date he will be at The Lihou Duck Race https://www.lihouisland.com/news/lihou-duck-race-2019 on the Sunday the 21st of April. Richard Curtis, the current Warden, will be working alongside Steve for up to three months to help facilitate a smooth transition. By way of a quick introduction, here is a short message from Steve in his own words.
My name is Steve Sarre, and I would like to introduce myself as the new warden. I will be taking over from Richard Curtis on 20th May 2019, who has done a tremendous job and look forward to continuing with the progress that Richard has made. I am a local person that has lived on the Island for my entire life and loves the Guernsey way of living and all the history/opportunities it has to offer. I am married with 2 young children, who are very excited that daddy will be driving a tractor. I am very grateful to have been given this fantastic opportunity working for the Lihou Charitable Trust and look forward to working with the charity and meeting everyone who regularly gets involved in all aspects of Lihou, from volunteers to the guests that stay over.
