Executive Project Coordinator

The RGLI Trust have many exciting and varied events lined up for their 2023 which include: Memorial events in Guernsey and France, between the communities, interested parties and the state. Student exchanges between local schools and France. Several fund raising to support the upkeep, history and advancement of Guernsey's Own Regiment. Twinning events and visits between Guernsey & France with a wide number of supporters and officials. The Trustees are looking for an Executive Project Co-ordinator to help organise our resources and deliver the projects. The role is varied and includes liaising with a wide number of stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the events and the charity. If you have a keen interest in Guernsey's Military History, a good organiser and computer literate we would be very interested to hear from you. A working knowledge of French would be helpful, but is not necessary. Your commitment could be 4 to 5 hours per week. If you are interested please contact us for a chat.

RGLI Rememberance Day - Sunday 4th December

The Dean of Guernsey will hold a short service in front of the Bailiff and other dignitaries at noon on Sunday 4th December 2022, at the RGLI Memorial in the Sunken Garden in Anne's Place. The service commemorates and remembers the 105 anniversary of the Battle of Les Rue Vertes in Masnieres, France where so many Guernsey men were lost holding the Allied Line. A service will also be held in Masnieres at the same time at the RGLI Memorial there. Please take this invitation to join the memorial service.
