Description Aims and Objectives
The Charity promotes the history and cultural links between Guernsey and France together with a number of associated stakeholders related to and aligned with the RGLI.
An important part of this strategy is the memory and cultural significance of those men and their families who served during between 1916 and 1919 and the subsequent privations and changes that were brought to the island during this period, and for year afterwards.
In setting memorials to the regiment in Guernsey & France the Trust has also promotes a framework for continued rememberance, partnership (twinning of St Peter Port with Masnieres) and involvement in the community (school exchange programme).
Organisation and Management
The management of the Trust consists of three permanent Trustees with two principles executive offices, supported by volunteers and fundraisers
