Annual General Meeting was held on 7thApril 2025 at 6:00 PM at Les Cotils.

The AGM is always a significant occasion for any membership organisation as we look forward to coming together with our members. You, our member, are at the very heart of our mission, and your involvement in our activities is fundamental to our success.

In addition to some of the more formal aspects of the AGM we   

  • Ratified the appointment of a new director, Alexa Moore and retirement of Charlie Cox

We also had the opportunity to

  • Reflect on and review the achievements & challenges of the past year

  • Learn about the AGC’s refreshed strategic goals and appointment of a new director

  • Influence the future direction of our organisation

We are also pleased to welcome two distinguished guest speakers:

  • Boley Smillie, the newly appointed CEO of States of Guernsey , who shared his vision on how the Government can better support and collaborate with the charitable sector. There will also be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
  • Steven Hall, MD of Teamkinetic, who provided insights into the software behind volunteer.gg, relaunched in February, and its potential to enhance volunteer recruitment and management.
