House of Hope

Our aims and objectives

The House of Hope Fund is a Guernsey based charity which aims to give a future and a hope to children who currently have neither.

Its objective is to remove abandoned and orphaned children from the streets of Mombasa, and provide them with a loving Christian home where they are fed, clothed, educated, loved and cared for.

Organisation and management

House of Hope will consist of a Guernsey branch, organised and managed by a committee, meeting three times annually, including an AGM.

The home in Mombasa will initially be supervised by two primary carers.

The work in Mombasa is to be funded through voluntary giving in Guernsey and other interested areas. Money will be deposited in Guernsey and transferred to an account in Mombasa as and when funds are required by the home.

Members of the committee will not benefit financially in any way from the income of the fund. Should the fund be wound up, any surplus of income over expenditure will be gifted to a charity with similar aims.
