St Matthews Community Centre LBG
Our aims and objectives
After many years of enthusiastic fundraising, Cobo Community Centre opened for business in September 2015. Since then the Centre has become a popular venue for a wide range of activities including a preschool, fitness classes, meditation groups, and educational and social meetings. Weekends are often busy with adult and children's parties and charitable fund raising events.
The aim of the Centre is to continue to provide a welcoming space for all users, ranging from St Matthew's Church to the wider community.
The Centre also aims to produce sufficient income through the hiring of rooms and halls, and through fundraising, so as to manage the Centre efficiently, and enable repayment of loans and bonds required to complete the build.
At present, the Centre is managed by volunteers
