Channel Islands Occupation Society

Our aims and objectives

An organisation that was formed in 1961 to study and investigate the German occupation of the Channel Islands.

The Society aims to further the interest in the occupation by recording, safeguarding and preserving relics, documents and monuments of that period.

The Society organises lectures, rambles, and tours off island. It has been involved with the preservation and maintaining of the Navel Signals Headquarters at St. Jacques, as well as other investigation and research duties.

Organisation and management

The Society is run by a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor to the reviews and periodicals, plus five committee members.
