Judo Association of Guernsey
Our aims and objectives
Judo Association of Guernsey is the governing body for the sport of judo within Guernsey and liaises with the Guernsey Sports Commission, the Island Games, and Commonwealth Games Associations in all matters relating to judo.
The main aims are to provide the opportunity for all members of the community to participate in healthy recreation and to encourage young people to take up the sport of judo at local schools - including special needs schools.
Organisation and management
A committee comprising Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Child Welfare Officer and one representative from each of the affiliated judo clubs.
All work is voluntary. A levy of £1 is placed on the grading fees collected by the judo clubs.
