School Farms Africa LBG

Our aims and objectives

School Farms Africa aims to support children and their families in the disadvantaged areas of Nairobi and surrounding areas. The initial support was for Kibera Academy (c. 260 children) in the informal Nairobi suburbs by providing food, medical help and infrastructure improvement.

The organisation  raised funds, primarily in Guernsey, to purchase and manage farmland  to provide food, training, and recreation for the pupils of the academy, an orphanage in Lukenya and other schools in Kawangware and Soi.

Organisation and management

There is a board of six directors.

Finance by donation and grants from the public, other trusts, and organisations.
