Creative Learning in Prison (CLIP)

Our aims and objectives

VISION To inspire prisoners to fully integrate into the community

MISSION To provide prisoners with a range of education and learning opportunities

Since it was established in 2013, CLIP has been consistently focused on supporting prisoners by delivering education, employment and other meaningful and productive activities.

CLIP works closely with Guernsey Prison’s senior management team by enabling prisoners to acquire skills that help with their rehabilitation and employment prospects by providing them with invaluable skills, so they are better equipped for life in the community when they leave prison.

In 2021, CLIP was the recipient of the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. To find out more about CLIP go to https://www.clip.org.gg

Organisation and management

CLIP has an established governance framework and is directed by its independent four person board, which meets formally on a regular basis.
