Offenders Deposit Assistance Scheme
Our aims and objectives
To support prisoners on release with security appropriate accommodation.
To pay deposits for rented accommodation direct to landlords.
Referral will be through the probation service prior to release. Appropriate accommodation with be sourced (primarily through the Guernsey Housing Association or States Housing) and ex-offenders will enter into a tenancy agreement.
Organisation and management
Operating by a management committee consisting of the Head of Probation and up to 4 ordinary members.
