Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Families Association (SSAFA)

Our aims and objectives

SSAFA gives lifelong support for our forces and their families.

Organisation and management

SSAFA was established in 1885. The local branch is run by a committee aided by caseworkers and visitors, who will respond to all requests for help. If financial assistance is needed and eligibility established, grants are applied for from the relevant Services Benevolent Funds. Funds raised in Guernsey are wholly spent within the Bailiwick.
