Our aims and objectives
Guernsey Latvian Association (GLA) is member led, non-sectarian, non-political. Its objectives are to promote the spirit of fraternity among all members, to promote the Latvian culture in Guernsey, to celebrate independence day of Latvia, etc
To raise funds for the Charitable purposes to provide opportunities for children to enhance their Latvian language skills.
To promote the Latvian culture through social events and functions
To support Tiskadu Orphanage, Latvia
Organisation and management
latbiThe Guernsey Latvian Association formed to provide support to the Latvian Community in Guernsey.
To develop healthy relationships between Latvian Nationals and the wider Guernsey Community.
To promote Latvian culture.
The GLA is manager by a committee of five office bearers; President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Secretary
