Rosaire Community Association
Our aims and objectives
Rosaire Community Association is a registered Non-profit Organisation which is user led by its membership.
It works in partnership with other organisations and agencies to develop and provide opportunities for older people living in Guernsey, and to create a Community Hub for older people at Rosaire Court and is committed to equality and diversity within its membership.
To promote the health and well-being of people over 55 years that live at Rosaire Court & Gardens and across the island.
To reduce experiences of social isolation through organised activities and events.
To try to make as many opportunities as inclusive as possible by securing funding so that it is free at point of access.
The activities and events organised by the Assoc will be led by the membership following consultation. This will include social, recreational and educational opportunities. These may be weekly, monthly, annually or one off special events.
Organisation and management
The association has a management committee made up of 6 members.
It has two additional co-opted members who provide help, support and guidance to the committee but have no voting rights.
This includes Housing 21 who provide administration support and facilities at Rosaire Court to run activities and events and a representative from the States of Guernsey Adult Community Care Services that provide support to residents at Rosaire Court and Gardens.
