Our aims and objectives
“We aim to support adults with learning disabilities and difficulties develop self-confidence and life skills; enabling them to be included and valued within a workplace and the wider community; by providing occupational training and mentoring in safe and stimulating environment”
Organisation and management
There is a Board of Directors, drawn from various interests on the Island, which meets quarterly to formulate policy, review resources and monitor progress.
The charity receives partial sponsorship for the attendees/sheltered workers by agreement with the Employment & Social Security (EES) Department of the States of Guernsey that goes towards operating expenses of the company. All other funding has to be raised from the sale of plants and produce, its garden maintenance service, and donations from the public.
