Our aims and objectives
Air Rescue Channel Islands is a Guernsey charity that is establishing a multi role emergency helicopter that will provide an air ambulance, medical repatriation and search and rescue.
Being based in the islands and able to transfer a patient to a UK hospital helipad in under an hour will create new clinical pathways that will save lives and assist islanders in critical need.
To establish an emergency helicopter that will provide a HEMS service to the islands of Alderney, Sark and Herm. Will provide emergency medical transfers to the islands of Guernsey and Jersey, and a search function to all the islands.
Organisation and management
The charity is a Jersey company limited by Guarantee, but registered as a Guernsey charity under our Jersey company. This was agreed by the registry to keep accounting straightforward.
