Le Platon Home LBG
Our aims and objectives
Le Platon Home LBG was established in 1914 by Miss. Edith Renouf (MBE) and is the oldest Residential Care Home in the island.
The home is an independent care home and registered charity and is registered as a fifty bedded residential home providing care for vulnerable residents with thirty seven specialist dementia care beds.
Our objective is to continue the work of our founder in providing a safe and caring home for people who are at a time in their lives when they need care and support.
Organisation and management
Administration is by a committee of management consisting of eight members.
Finance by rents from car parking, donations, fees, and full or partial assistance from the States of Guernsey with fees for some patients.
