La Societe Guernesiaise

Our aims and objectives

A local society of natural science and local research formed to study all aspects of natural science and local research within the Bailiwick, including the conservation of all aspects of local flora and fauna.

Organisation and management

There are twelve active sections each carrying out research into all aspects of Bailiwick history and natural history, governed by a council with President, 12 section secretaries, 6 ordinary members, editor, secretary and treasurer.

Finance by members' annual subscriptions, donations, sale of books, cards and postcards. Appeals to the public are rare. All funds are spent in Guernsey.
