Our aims and objectives

Our Vision: 

A community where people and their families can recover and thrive without stigma.

Our Mission:

Helping people to achieve lasting change with drug, alcohol and gambling problems that is free from judgement, free from stigma, and free of charge.

If you are concerned about your use of drugs, alcohol or gambling, please contact us. If you prefer to remain anonymous for now, you can call us and speak to us anonymously as a first step. Should you decide to take this a step further we can arrange an appointment to discuss which of our services best suits you.

Organisation and management

Independence is governed by a Board of unpaid Directors and financed in part by the Health Improvement Commission for specific contracts, and in part by charitable donations.
