The Alderney Society
Our aims and objectives
The Society's aims are:
- To encourage research in all fields of work concerning Alderney.
- To preserve and record structures, sites and chattels of interest to the island.
- To assist the conservation of the environment of the island.
- To encourage scientific and cultural activities.
Organisation and management
The society is managed by an elected Council who elect a President every three years from their membership. Five Trustees are appointed by the Council, who own all land, buildings and chattels vested in their name.
