Guernsey Cardiac Action Group
Our aims and objectives
Cardiac Action Group (CAG) is a non-profit voluntary organisation that is devoted to making a difference in the community. Their aim if to help raise awareness and reduce the incidence of death from cardiovascular disease in the islands, and improve the quality of life of cardiac patients.
It does this by raising funds to build a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillator (AED) network within our community and facilitate maintenance and equipment to ensure the AED,s are functional at all times.

Organisation and management
The CAG is run by a committee, consisting of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and / healthcare professionals, supported by an operational team which volunteer their time and support.
The charity is funded through donations and organised fund-raising events, CAG received no on-going financial support and relies on a small committee to generate income.
