GSPCA 11th Animal Welfare Seafront Sunday 21st May 2023 - Pitch to Animal Mascot Applications now open 16186 Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) On the 21st May 2023 10am to 4pm the GSPCA will once again be organising a day to celebrate the animals in Guernsey and all the wonderful work that is done to care for them. We are extremely grateful to all those that made last 11 years such great days and we are hoping this years will be bigger and better. There will be stalls and fun for all the family - all with an animal theme. Fancy dress to mascot olympics, children's games to lots of food, a fun dog show, arts and crafts to charity stalls, some of the GSPCA animals looking for homes, entertainment and so much more........ This years Giant Animal Mascot event is the olympics. All proceeds for this years race will help animals in Guernsey at the GSPCA so you can help support a great local charity, whilst having a lot of fun. Fun Dog Show There will be a fun dog show starting at 1230pm with registration from 11am. This is always a fabulous, fun, highlight and is open to any breed of dog. Best male puppy (under 2yrs) Best female puppy (under 2yrs) Best Rescue Lovely Ladies Fabulous Fellas Happiest Handler Golden Oldies (7 yrs +) Best in Show (winners of the previous classes) Entries are £1 a class. Please enter your dog on the day. Childrens Animal Fancy Dress For a bit of fun bring your children with an animal themed fancy dress for a free prize. Just pop along to our stall on the Crown Pier between 11am and 4pm on the day for a free gift. GSPCA Seafront Sunday Animal Olympics As part or our 11th Seafront Sunday we are inviting you to join in our Animal Olympic Obstacle course, with a chance to win two return tickets to Alderney; courtesy of Aurigny Airlines (for the adults) and a GSPCA goodie bag (for any children aged 12 and under). So how do you take part? Meet our team at the Crown Pier arena at 1.30pm, pop a small donation in our charity bucket and choose which animal costume to wear during your attempt to BEE the best around our fun course.
