Lloyds Bank Foundation, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this December, has opened a new grant programme for charities that can demonstrate an increase in demand for services due to cost-of-living increases. The Foundation will give 10 grants of £40,000 in unrestricted funding. This means that charities can determine how best to use the funds and do not need to apply with a specific funding request. Instead, charities will need to evidence how their charity has experienced a significant demand for their service / support due to the cost of living. For example: - Increase in the number of people supported - Increase in complexity of need & support p Increase in duration of support provided The Foundation’s 40th Anniversary grant programme closes for applications on 22 May, with decisions expected to be confirmed in early July.
