Guernsey Mind

Our aims and objectives

Guernsey Mind is an independent mental health charity whose main aim is to support the people of the Bailiwick, encouraging a positive attitude towards mental health and supporting mental wellbeing.

Our main areas of focus are:

Workplace and Training

  • Workplace Partnership - using real, live data to promote healthy, productive workplaces
  • WorkWell - early intervention programme for workplaces
  • Various training courses including Mental Health Awareness & Listening Skills
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Suicide First Aid

Support for mild to moderate mental health issues

  • One-to-one sessions
  • Supported Self-help - free one-to-one service - no referral needed
  • Support groups
  • Signposting services

Awareness

  • Community events throughout the year to promote mental health awareness
  • Media and Social Media campaigns
