Our aims and objectives

Les Bourgs Hospice aims to provide the highest levels of compassionate and professional care to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses, as well as their loved ones. The dedicated and compassionate nursing team offer 360 degree care to patients, families and friends of those who use our services at times of worry, stress and loss We offer end of life care, respite care, symptom management and day hospice care to those people who benefit from this kind of support

All Bailiwick residents are able to come to the hospice for residential, respite and day care and there is no charge.

We also offer a Day Hospice facility one day a week and bereavement support

Les Bourgs Hospice relies totally on the generosity and support of Bailiwick residents, which comes via donations, support to our Charity Shops and support with Fundraising events, to enable it to provide exceptional care and professional support which enables patients with a life limiting illness, with the support of their family and friends, to attain an improved quality of life at a time of need.

Organisation and management

Les Bourgs Hospice is a Company Limited by Guarantee and has a Board of Directors who meet regularly to manage the Hospice Strategic aims

Our new Chief Executive Officer is Rob Jones who took over the mantle following Jo Boyd's retirement in December 2023. The day-to-day running of the ward is managed by Letishia Vermeulen our Care Manager.
