Description Aims and Objectives

Our vision is to limit negative human impact on the environment.

We operate a number of campaigns including Pick It Up Guernsey, which promotes litter picking and keeping Guernsey clean through a number of initiatives:
 - Litter picker lending scheme from the Guille Alles Library
 - Womble 52, with the aim of getting every week of the year 'owned' by a group carrying out litter picking activities
 - Adopt a patch, with the aim of groups and individuals owning a patch of Guernsey and committing to keeping it clean.

CET also runs a Repair Cafe aimed at matching users who need to fix an item with a volunteer who can help them fix it, in a social setting. We aim to promote a mending culture to reduce waste.

Organisation and Management

The charity comprises a Chairman (Andrew Munro) and two trustees (Fran Browning and Laura Bampton). There are two employed members of staff (Camilla Smillie and Helen Quin).
