Volunteering Opportunities

Citizens Advice Guernsey is a busy local charity and is a member of the National Citizens Advice network. It provides an invaluable service to the community, helping around 3,500 people each year on a wide range of issues including: financial, employment, housing, relationships, consumer, and health. It is expected that in the next few years the demand for our service will increase especially with the pressures caused by the cost-of-living crisis. We are very fortunate to have an enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers who keep the Citizens Advice Service running for the benefit of the local community, but we need more. From becoming a Generalist or a Money Adviser, to joining the Research & Campaigns team, or being part of the Office admin team, we have a wide range of volunteering opportunities. Generally, volunteers work a half day shift once or twice a week. It is our vision that every person in the Bailiwick of Guernsey has access to advice and support to make informed decisions. Putting our clients first, we provide access to free, confidential, independent, and impartial advice when we are needed most. Our active Board are looking to recruit to the role of Company Secretary.
