We are seeking a Charity Treasurer who has a strong interest in environmental conservation and protection. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, practical and can donate 1-2 hours of their time per week. Duties and responsibilities will include: - General financial oversight - Financial planning and budgeting - Financial reporting - Book keeping and record keeping - Control of fixed assets and stock Previous experience in a treasury role, especially within a charity, would be beneficial but not crucial. Volunteering for the Clean Earth Trust means that you will be part of a progressive and growing local charity supporting Guernsey’s environment, working with a team of passionate environmentalists. Volunteers get free access to the Guernsey Chambers of Commerce events and access to the Sustainable Business Initiative Community. It’s an exciting time to be part of the Clean Earth Trust as we grow, and this is a great opportunity to get valuable non-profit experience including participation in team meetings, where you’ll be invited to contribute to the development of our projects.
